The nursery is open 52 weeks a year but is closed on 12 public holidays, 7 in-service days and the period between Christmas and New Year. Dates for these closures will be provided at the enrolment process, and information will also be displayed at the entrance to playrooms shortly before the proposed closures. Capacity
Knightswood Early Years Centre operates a service for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. At present we accommodate 51 Full Time Equivalent children term time/non term time within a daily session. This is broken down to the following:
Flowertot Room 6 weeks to 2 years 12 children
Skye Room 2 years to 3 years 15 children
Wallace Room 3 years to 5 years 24 children
Please note some children may share a fulltime place therefore we have more than 51 children using the service within Knightswood Early Years Centre.
